If you’ve been on our Facebook page,  you’ve probably seen photos of our favorite “baby dinosaur” Walt! This past month, Katie rode Walt in a lesson with CDI Grand Prix dressage rider Allison Kavey of Rivendell Dressage. Below are a few clips from the video and as you can tell, Walt is progressing quite well in his dressage training!

Originally purchased by Paige Ervin as a growing 3 year old, Walt only had 60-days of under saddle training before coming to KWE to further his education in September 2018. At 18.3h, Katie and Paige have taken their time with Walt to ensure that he’s given enough time to physically develop. He has proved to be such a naturally talented youngster that the plan is to enter a few 4-year-old Materiale Classes in hopes of qualifying to compete at Dressage at Devon.
