Sabrina Morris with IrishReunion was 2nd in the Open Preliminary-B division (their first time out this year too!) and Demery Schriver with her mare Athena finished 6th in the Open Novice-A division. Way to go ladies!

This past weekend was one of ups and downs, but ended up turning out very well! Katie’s father’s horse, Jet, had to have emergency colic surgery over the weekend. Luckily, he made it through surgery successfully and is now on the long road of recovery. Keep him in your thoughts as he is rehabbed back to health!
In other news, Katie and Trip (Mr. Indiscretion) finished 4th in the Open Intermediate-A division at the Fair Hill International CIC & Horse Trials in Elkton, Maryland. Way to go Katie & Trip! Glad to see he is having fun out and about this spring!

Advanced-level event rider Katie Wherley, of Katie Wherley Equestrian in Middletown, Maryland, will be teaching at the Woodstock Equestrian Park (off MD Rt. 28) on Saturday, May 16th
Lesson fees:
(*Schooling at Woodstock is FREE. So there is no additional charge or XC schooling fee*)
$75 per 45-minute private lesson
$60 per small group lesson (no more than 4 riders)
($5 discount to current Pony Club members!)

What a great weekend for Katie and her students! Saturday’s clinic at Loch Moy went really well and despite the high winds, everyone had fun. Yesterday, at The Maryland Horse Trials Starter # 2, Katie’s students also rode very well in their divisions!
